Castellini AREA brings new ergonomics and a renewed passion for dentistry: a first-class treatment centre with plenty of working space, fluid and precise workflows, and the option to integrate every Castellini technology to suit your clinical needs. AREA is also available with a knee-bend patient chair option, as well as the suspended chair with the Sliding system.

Key Features:

• Knee-Bend Chair Option: AREA is available with a knee-bend patient chair as an alternative to the suspended Sliding chair, so you can choose the chair style that suits your patients and way of working.
• Suspended Patient Chair: The operating layout is independent of working height, and the compact unit body gives the team plenty of space and an easy approach to the patient, whatever their build.
• Sliding System: Combines backrest lowering with forward seat movement, so the working area stays the same and the dentist gains 18 cm of space at the 12 o’clock position. Soft Motion keeps movement smooth and silent, and Slow Mode allows very fine adjustments for implantology or microscope work.
• Versions: Over-the-patient delivery, CP with hanging tubes, CART for dentists working mainly at 12 o’clock, and a Hybrid version for easy left-handed use.
• Patient Comfort: Optional pneumatic orbital headrest, Nordic backrest, Memory Foam padding and a patient presence sensor that can put the unit on stand-by and switch the light automatically.
• Full Touch Interface: 7″ multitouch console to control instruments, hygiene systems and implant/endo/conservative functions, and display images, X-rays and video tutorials. 4 user profiles as standard, NFC bracelet access to up to 20 saved set-ups, and voice controls.
• Dentist’s Module: Light, compact over-the-patient module with capacitive height adjustment, self-balancing instruments and SideFlex levers, or a compact hanging-tube module with a sixth instrument (camera or curing light).
• Cup Sensor and Motor-Driven Cuspidor: Fully automated cup filling and a motor-driven cuspidor bowl, plus an optional interactive LED Pack showing unit and hygiene status.
• Implant Surgery: Implantor LED induction micromotor, peristaltic pump with sterile saline irrigation, easily adjusted operating parameters and torque curve logging.
• Endodontics: Reciprocating mode, built-in file database, LAEC integrated apex locator with APEX-STOP and EVO E4 contra-angle.
• Operating Light: Venus LED MCT with adjustable brightness up to 50,000 lux and warm, neutral or cool colour temperature plus composite mode, or Venus LED MCT View with an integrated 4K camera.
• Certified Hygiene: Autosteril automatic disinfection of the water circuits (tested by Sapienza University of Rome), M.W.B. continuous disinfection, S.S.S. separate water supply bottle, Time Flushing and S.H.D. suction disinfection.
• Protected by Design: Detachable instrument tubing, removable and autoclavable lamp and module handles, and removable, autoclavable cuspidor bowl parts for easy infection control.
• Connected Surgery: Di.V.A. digital virtual assistant with a dashboard for usage, hygiene cycles and instrument modes, plus EasyCheck remote diagnosis and technical support.
• Integrated Diagnostics: Integrated HD intraoral camera and 22″ medical monitor, plus the RXDC X-ray unit with eXtend technology and an integrated X-ray sensor.
• Freedom of Installation: A multi-connector system (K, P, S and S short) lets AREA be installed on existing floor connections without building work.
