Castellini RX DC Wireless

The Castellini RX DC is a versatile, high frequency intraoral X-ray unit, now available with eXTend wireless control for total positioning freedom. Its constant potential (DC) generator and a very small 0.4 mm focal spot combine to produce sharp, high-definition images while keeping patient dose to a minimum.

  • Wireless Control: The eXTend wireless handheld controller removes the need for a wall-mounted control panel, with a single button for ultra-fast exposure and simple program selection.
  • Sharp, High-Definition Images: A 0.4 mm focal spot and 30 cm source-to-skin distance give sharp edges and precise detail while minimising the exposed body surface area.
  • Low Patient Dose: High frequency, constant potential generation reduces exposure times; a 4 mA mode is available to halve X-ray output where appropriate.
  • Sequential Exposure: A fast dynamic duty cycle keeps the tube temperature under control, allowing repeated exposures with no downtime.
  • Flexible Installation: Available wall-mounted (arms in 40, 60 or 90 cm lengths, positionable in 6 directions) or on a mobile cart for use around the practice.
  • PC Connectivity: Works with iCapture and iRYS software for digital image management, DICOM 3.0 connectivity and an exportable X-ray log; the optional RX DC Connect accessory logs dose data straight to PC.
